Artist, educator, and former commercial photographer with over 26 years of professional experience, I bring a unique blend of technical precision and artistic vision to every piece I create. My work spans multiple mediums, including Photo-Realistic Pencil & Charcoal, Watercolor, Acrylic, Textural Mixed Media, Oil, and Fine Art Photography.
Over the course of a distinguished 23-year commercial photography career, I collaborated with notable brands and clients including Ralph Lauren, Brighton, and Architectural Stone Company. Working both in studio and on location, I specialized in luxury product photography, large-scale architectural imagery, precious and semi-precious jewelry (product and fashion) photography, museum-quality artwork reproduction imaging, and executive and modeling portfolio photography. This extensive background created a meticulous attention to detail and a mastery of light, composition, and visual storytelling, that continues to influence and elevate my fine art practice today.
Education and mentorship have also been central to my professional journey. I have provided private art instruction, taught for a nonprofit school specializing in dyslexia education, and led art programs through the Dallas Public Library system. I was also honored to be invited by the University of North Texas to present a two-day lecture on the art and technical skills of professionally photographing artwork. I continue to provide periodic art courses for adults, looking to enjoy creating for themselves, or professionally, through courses offered here on my website or in-person at my studio location.
Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to the pursuit of excellence, refining my techniques across both traditional and contemporary disciplines. In addition to creating original works, I offer a limited number of exclusive commissions each year, collaborating closely with clients and collectors to transform vision into precision art.
My work is created for collectors, designers, and discerning clients who value exceptional quality, classic beauty, and artwork tailored to their vision. Each original piece or commissioned piece is approached with the highest level of care and attention to detail, resulting in one-of-a-kind work designed to be admired, collected, and cherished for generations. Exclusive commission inquiries are welcome.
Please note, I do not use AI in any of my artwork nor will I ever. All digital art over travel photography is hand done by me in photoshop, including the creation of skies and stars. I use only my photography in my photographic work when any photo manipulation is done.
